The same weekend of the Tim concert, the office went to Bucsh Gardens! I hadn't been since I was little so I was really excited! I LOVE rollercoasters! We had such a good time with all of our friends, even though we were dying a heat! The Griffon was my favorite ride!

A couple weeks before I left VA Beach, I heard on the radio that Tim McGraw was coming to town so we had to get some tickets! It was at an ampitheater so it was a lot of fun. We got a smokin' deal on tickets and me and Annie had a great time! The Band Perry opened for him and I was SO excited because they sing one of my favorite songs, "If I Die Young" Luke Bryan also opened for him and he was such a good performer! We loved watching him shake it! Then Tim came on and it was AWESOME!! He pretty good looking :) But it was sad because the night before he broke his foot so he was hobbling around and had a cane to help him walk. It was probably the best concert I've been to!

Quick Trip to DC

A couple weeks ago Allie's fiance had to fly out of Washington DC so we decided to all go and make a fun day out of it! Allie and Jessica had never been there before so we were excited to see everything! I sort of remember my way around so that made us a lot less lost! Haha. We started out by seeing the Washington Monument. It was SO hot and humid I was seriously dying walking around all day! We made our way up to the Holocaust museum where we spent a lot of our time. They had some new exhibits that weren't there when I was so it was like a whole new place! Then we headed down to see the White House, WWII Memorial, the Lincoln Monument and to grab some lunch! We didn't get to see quite everything that we wanted to, but it was still a great day!

*VA Beach ZoO*

If you haven't figured it out by now, I love to go to the zoo!! I don't care if I have seen the same animal a million times I am still mesmerized by them! So last week, me, Jessica, Tash, and her little girl, Siene packed up and headed for the zoo. Even though you want to die everywhere you go here because you sweat to death!!!!
There were a few animals at this zoo that I don't think I have seen before, or maybe just don't remember! OH, and another first, I got to see someone get engaged at the zoo! I don't know if it's just me, but I thought that was kind of weird to choose the zoo... haha oh well!

I have never seen a tiger this close!! He was so cute :) His trainer was standing right by us so he would follow her wherever she went!

This is the other animal that I don't think I have seen before! He was not in the mood to be looked at so he had this sheet he would put over his head! I knocked on the window and he peeked his eye at me and then walked over to the back of his house! Haha it was so funny

Me and Jess also ventured to the aquarium one day... which was a bad idea because it was kind of lame for how much it cost! The only cool this was this alligator type thing. I don't remember the name of it but it was HUGE and it looked at us like he wanted to eat us for dinner!

Sunday= bEaCh DaY*

In the summertime we LOVE when Sunday rolls around because it is Tyler's only day off to relax and do nothing! One of our favorite things to do, and we have done it every Sunday since we've been here, is spend the day at the beach! It's so much fun and only about 10 minutes away! Most of the day consists of surfing, swimming, laying out, and walking the boardwalk! We LOVE being so close to the beach :)

You could say I have turned in to a beach bum! The girls come to the beach at least 3 times a week! I bought my airplane ticket to go home on July 26th.... I am REALLY not ready to go back to the real world!

Trip to Champaign

Like I said in the post before, I was able to go see my sister for a week! I was so excited to see them since I hadn't since Christmas!! It worked out perfectly because the weekend we were going to move to VA Beach was the weekend I was going to drive there so it was nice I didn't have to drive myself and Tyler could just drop me off there on the way! I was sneaky and told them that we weren't gonna be there until in the middle of the night but we really were going to be there at 5:00 pm! Bladey was sooo excited to see me :) He especially loved me this trip... I'm still trying to figure out why! Haha maybe because I let him play "Angry Birds" on my phone! Like always it was SO good to see them and we had a lot of fun!

Zoo Day

Well... Iowa was fun while it lasted but we have moved on to bigger and better things... aka the BEACH :) The office packed up and made the 20 hour move to Virginia Beach! Thank heavens I only had to drive 5 out of the 20 hours because Tyler dropped me off at my sisters for a week!
When we were still in Des Moines we went to the Blank Park Zoo! It was a smaller zoo but it was still fun! We went with Jessica and Ty & Bradyn and Aleah.

It was awesome! I want to ride one in Egypt or somewhere crazy now! The worker told me to sit right on the hump and I was nervous because I thought it was squishy, but as you can see it wasn't!
