Indy Museum and Zoo

Just so you know now this post is going to be a picture OVERLOAD! We got to Indy on Wed and my sister and Bladen came to stay the weekend with me. I was SOOO excited to see them I could barley stand it. I haven't seen them since Christmas so I could not wait!!! They got here Friday morning. When they got here we headed to the Indianapolis Zoo. The zoo was so much fun and one of the nicest zoos I have been to! It was really nice and pretty much every animal had babies!! My favorite was the sea lions and the dolphins! Here are some pics of the zoo:

Our first stop was the sea lions. Their trainers were out there doing a show when we got there so that was fun to see.

Looking at fish

Polar bearLunch break

Waiting for the dolphin show, as you can tell he was excited!

Giraffes. Baby giraffe was born in Dec.

Yes, Bladen got to feed the giraffe a "tato"

Rhinos

These monkeys were hilarious to watch... don't ask me why he was licking the fence

Of course we couldn't leave without riding the carousel!

Bear

Cheese!!

Watching the sea lions one last time before we left

The next day we went to the Children's Museum of Indianapolis. We saw it while we were driving to the zoo so I am glad we saw it or we would have never known to go there. It is the biggest one in the US. Even I was so excited to go there!! This is the front of the museum with these life size dinos!!

Walking across the sky walk to get into the museum

They had a barbie exhibit... couldn't wait to see it!

This is the dinosar exhibit

They had this cool cave thing you could crawl in to and stick your head up and see the dinosaurs

They had a whole section on trains

.. and Star Wars

Yup this is a clock..

Bob the Builder exhibit... Bladen's favorite

Picture with Bob the Builder... we don't know why he is standing so far away haha

Play Center
He is the weirdest child ever... he was freaking out because he didn't wanna get sand in his shoes

The last day they were here we took Bladen fishing. We have a couple lakes at our apt that we can fish at. He had lots of fun and HAD to wear his Batman tackle box

I had so much fun with them here and miss them already................ good thing I go there in a week to be his nanny :)
