Washinton DC Temple

Amy's mom took me and Annie to the Washinton DC temple to do a session before we left. It was so pretty! The grounds were so pretty and green! I was so glad that I got to experience going to this temple. Thanks Marsali!

oNe yEar!

For our anniversary on August 2nd we went to the Arlington Cemetery. It was the hottest day ever. We we're sweating to death!! But it was worth it to see everything. We walked around and saw all of the graves, they are amazing how straight and organized they are. You look and the grave stones go forever. We went and saw the changing of the guards and that was probably my favorite thing to see. It is so cool and I can't believe they do it 24/7! Here are a few pics

After the cemetery me and Tyler went to lunch at Olive Garden and then went back to our hotel. Our hotel was right by downtown so it was really nice! We got ready and then went to dinner at the Lonestar and then went to the movie. I can't believe we have been married a year! It has flown by!!

Me and Annie decided we needed to get out and do some things here since we will be going home very soon! We looked around and decided to go to the zoo mainly because it was FREE :) We had a lot of fun seeing the animals and I was excited to see my first Panda bear! They we're so cute!

Downtown DC & BBQ

Sine our office moved from Philly to Washington DC, last Sunday me and Tyler decided to go downtown and see some things since we are like 5 minutes away. We didn't have a lot of time so we drove around and saw some things and then parked and went and saw the Jefferson Monument. It was so cool, I had never seen anything like it. After that we got on some paddle boats and paddled around and saw some of the monuments from our boats! It was pretty funny in those things! After that we went home and had a BBQ with everyone! It is really different here and WAY humid, but so far so good!!!

*Ocean City Beach

I have been a slacker on blogging lately so I am behind a few weeks so this is from 2 Sundays ago. Little did we know it would be our last Sunday in Philadelphia so I am glad we all went out and did something fun! We went to Ocean City Beach again with the boys and it was a lot of fun! We swam in the ocean and I got smashed by HUGE waves, layed out, and ate lots of food! We all came back looking pretty crispy! Here are some pics

Me, Amy, Che and Annie decided to head to the beach one day! We packed some sandwiches and some treats and were off! We went to Ocean City, NJ. It was so much fun playing in the ocean and layin out! It's not very far away so we wanted to take advantage of it being so close!
