Thanksgiving in San Diego

After about 6 years of not being able to all be together for Thanksgiving, this year we made it happen! We are sooo glad that Laci and her family have moved closer to home. We all made the trip down to San Diego and had a fun time!

We spent a lot of time on the beach. She is so lucky to live 5 minutes away!

Cruise!

It's been a LOONG time comin.... but here it is, pictures from our cruise in October! We have so much fun and feel so lucky to be able to go on fun trips like this with Tyler's job. We met some great fun and made fun memories! We started by flying to Puerto Rico and getting on the ship there. We went to 6 islands; St. Thomas, St. John, St. Lucia, St. Kitts, Barbadoes, and St. Maarten. They were all so beautiful, but our favorites were St. Lucia and Barbadoes.

First stop: St. Thomas

Megan's Bay. It was named one of the most beautiful beaches, and it sure was!!

We saw a jellyfish!! It came right to the shore and some guy was holding it! I touched it and it was all slimey.

Mikell, Me, Abby getting our first tans of the trip :)

Our taxi driver took us to a look out of Megan's Bay. You'll see from these pictures why it was named one of the most beautiful beaches.

Us and Mike and Brittany. We LOVED watching karaoke every night after dinner!

Walking the ship at night. They would play a movie on the big screen every night.

View from the balcony in our room :)

Barbados. We toured around the whole island. We tried to get our taxi driver to take us to Rihanna's house but he wouldn't! Haha. After we went to probably my favorite beach of the trip and went snorkeling.

Our friend, Snake, climbed a tree and got us a coconut

Getting ready to go snorkeling.... I was a little nervous

I think I was out there for about 5 mintues. I may have had a small freak out! I don't like seeing what is underneath me

The water was SO clear, I couldn't believe it!

St. Lucia: We toured around the whole island. It was so rich and green! Along the way we stopped and got fruit from the fruit farms, got mud baths, hiked to a waterfall, relaxed at a black sand beach, and saw the tetons

Mud baths- if you watch The Bachelorette, they did this on the season with Ashley! So cool!

I couldn't believe how hot the water was!

Sitting in the waterfall

Black sand beach

The hill leaving the beach was so steep our taxi couldn't make it up with all of us in there! Haha! Our taxi guy who's name was Tappy-tap said on the way up "uhhhhh I don't think we're going to make it man" so we hopped out and huffed it up the hill!On the way back to the boat after a long day!

St. Kitts: We had a relaxing day on this beach with massages (probably the best one I've ever had) and lots of tanning!

This GIANT pig lived on the beach. He was the pet of the locals I guess haha

St. Maarten: Tyler's boss rented jet skiis for all of us for the day! We had a blast!

These little girls suckered Tyler into buying their "manly" shark tooth neclaces! Ha

Before we flew home, we had some time to kill before we had to be at the airport so we toured around Puerto Rico for a couple hours.
We had such a great time and were sad to come home! Thanks to Vivint for a GREAT trip!

*oCtoBeR*

These past couple months have been INSANELY busy and a lot has happened... so here we go with a picture overload!!

To start off the month with a bang, I ran the St. George Marathon! It was the hardest thing I have ever done in my life. I swear you go through every emotion possible. One minute you are on top of the world, then you are saying to yourself "I hate this, why am I doing this to myself?!? I want to quit!!" About mile 17 I was dying. My whole body scramped and hurt and I seriously didn't know if I could take another step. Thanks to my family and friends for all the support and being there to cheer me on at the end! It was a great accomplishment and now I can say I ran and completed a marathon!

This was me about mile 6- it was one of the stops where people could watch

Didn't get any of me at the finish line... which is probably a good thing because I looked like death I'm sure! Tyler and my dad had to carry me!

The next weekend, Tyler's work hosted a Black Tie Event and the Salt Lake City Country Club. It was a lot of fun getting all dressed up! We went with Austin and Annie and had a good time dancing the night away..... NOT.... If any of you don't already know, Tyler won't dance! I've tried but he just wouldn't do it! Oh well, we had fun anyways :)

Getting ready to watch the fire dancers

And yes, they even took pictures like they do at prom!

For our Fall break we had a couple days off from school and Tyler was going selling so I decided to go and stay with my sister in San Diego! We had a great time. I got to see their new house, help in Bladen's kindergarten class, relax and hike on the beach, watched the red tide, shopped, and do crafts!

One of the nights we went downtown and had dinner.

At the craftstore finding our peacock feathers!

Bladen wanted it to look like I had 4 arms and legs...

Being silly

Hike on the beach

A couple weekends ago we were able to go down to California to watch my dad race. Laci and her family came so it was fun that we were all there.

At the starting line

The whole pit team and crew wore the yellow team shirts, so we did too! Here we are cheering him on in the stands!

It was so hot!

Relaxing in the trailer while they fixed the jeep during pit stops

The end. Almost... cruise pics are coming soon! :)
