These past couple months have been INSANELY busy and a lot has happened... so here we go with a picture overload!!

To start off the month with a bang, I ran the St. George Marathon! It was the hardest thing I have ever done in my life. I swear you go through every emotion possible. One minute you are on top of the world, then you are saying to yourself "I hate this, why am I doing this to myself?!? I want to quit!!" About mile 17 I was dying. My whole body scramped and hurt and I seriously didn't know if I could take another step. Thanks to my family and friends for all the support and being there to cheer me on at the end! It was a great accomplishment and now I can say I ran and completed a marathon!

The next weekend, Tyler's work hosted a Black Tie Event and the Salt Lake City Country Club. It was a lot of fun getting all dressed up! We went with Austin and Annie and had a good time dancing the night away..... NOT.... If any of you don't already know, Tyler won't dance! I've tried but he just wouldn't do it! Oh well, we had fun anyways :)

For our Fall break we had a couple days off from school and Tyler was going selling so I decided to go and stay with my sister in San Diego! We had a great time. I got to see their new house, help in Bladen's kindergarten class, relax and hike on the beach, watched the red tide, shopped, and do crafts!

A couple weekends ago we were able to go down to California to watch my dad race. Laci and her family came so it was fun that we were all there.

I can't even tell you how glad I was when 10 am rolled around Saturday morning! One, because I was going to be done with my dreaded 20 miler and two, because we were going to the lake! We have some of the greatest friends and it was so much fun spending the day together on the lake wakeboarding, tubing, and going on boat rides! I could spend the whole day at the lake and never get bored. I hurt my knee and was so sore I could barely walk, but it was still awesome and so relaxing!!

Labor Day Weekend

This Labor Day weekend was extra special because Laci, Nate, and Bladen were able to come to Cedar!!! I love that they live close now where they can just come on a long weekend if they want! We went camping for the weekend up Cedar Mountain. It was so much fun because Tyler and Nate were both able to come... which NEVER happens! We rode 4-wheelers, sat around the fire and talked, gathered lots of firewood, ate awesome food, and of course be entertained by Bladen the whole time :)

I am HOME!! Haha I have been home for a month but I have been going non-stop since, so I have not had time to blog! I was ready to leave Virginia Beach, but not ready to leave Tyler! I was so sad that we had to spend another month apart.... but I had to go home and get ready for school. The day that I was going to fly home I went to get my lashes done from the lady that I had went to all summer. My left eye was wondering and uncomfortable the whole time. When I left, my eye was bright red and would not stop watering! I just thought I got a hair or something in it and it would go away soon... well after about an hour or so of it hurting really bad I realized it wasn't getting better anytime soon. I was stressing out because I had to fly that day and I couldn't even open my eye long enough to do anything. So when I got to the airport everyone was looking at me REALLY funny! I couldn't tell if they were thinking I was crazy or drugged out or something! Haha. And what made everything even worse was when I was going through security they stopped me for "random searching." The guy that was doing it said to me, "Don't be nervous it's OK." And I wanted to tell him... I'm not nervous I just CAN'T SEE! Freak!! By this point it was getting worse and burning. The only thing that made it bearable was closing my eyes. So that's what I did the whole entire flight. My mom, sister, and Bladen came and picked me up and stayed at my house that night. It did not feel any better the next day so we went to the eye doctor. They looked in my eye and saw that some of my real eyelashes had been glued underneath my eyelid and it was rubbing my eyeball raw.... AWESOME!!!! He gave me some eyedrops so I didn't get an infection and it literally felt better 5 mintues later. Thank heavens I went to the doctor!!

It's so good to be home!! I missed my house so much! Tyler is finally on his way home! He is going to be home a couple days early because of the earthquake and the hurricane. Everyone was evacuating so they wanted to get out of there ASAP! Thank heavens! I also survived my first week of school. I'm exhausted.

August 2, 2008 was the best day of my life! I wish EVERY DAY that I could relive it over and over! We have had a challenging, fun, loving, and crazy 3 years..... I can't believe how fast the time has gone! I can't wait to see what the next 40 years bring! I love you Tyler!

Our last Sunday together we kinda celebrated our anniversary! We went to Ocean Breeze Waterpark and had a lot of fun! We spent a lot of time in the wave pool! We only got one picture and it was on our way home. Love you honey!
Later that day we went to dinner with our friends, then the Norfolk Tides baseball game! It was at night so it wasn't too hot and we could actually stand sitting there without being sticky and sweaty! I'm really not into baseball but the atmosphere is always fun :)

A couple weeks before I left VA Beach, I heard on the radio that Tim McGraw was coming to town so we had to get some tickets! It was at an ampitheater so it was a lot of fun. We got a smokin' deal on tickets and me and Annie had a great time! The Band Perry opened for him and I was SO excited because they sing one of my favorite songs, "If I Die Young" Luke Bryan also opened for him and he was such a good performer! We loved watching him shake it! Then Tim came on and it was AWESOME!! He pretty good looking :) But it was sad because the night before he broke his foot so he was hobbling around and had a cane to help him walk. It was probably the best concert I've been to!

Quick Trip to DC

A couple weeks ago Allie's fiance had to fly out of Washington DC so we decided to all go and make a fun day out of it! Allie and Jessica had never been there before so we were excited to see everything! I sort of remember my way around so that made us a lot less lost! Haha. We started out by seeing the Washington Monument. It was SO hot and humid I was seriously dying walking around all day! We made our way up to the Holocaust museum where we spent a lot of our time. They had some new exhibits that weren't there when I was so it was like a whole new place! Then we headed down to see the White House, WWII Memorial, the Lincoln Monument and to grab some lunch! We didn't get to see quite everything that we wanted to, but it was still a great day!

If you haven't figured it out by now, I love to go to the zoo!! I don't care if I have seen the same animal a million times I am still mesmerized by them! So last week, me, Jessica, Tash, and her little girl, Siene packed up and headed for the zoo. Even though you want to die everywhere you go here because you sweat to death!!!!
There were a few animals at this zoo that I don't think I have seen before, or maybe just don't remember! OH, and another first, I got to see someone get engaged at the zoo! I don't know if it's just me, but I thought that was kind of weird to choose the zoo... haha oh well!

In the summertime we LOVE when Sunday rolls around because it is Tyler's only day off to relax and do nothing! One of our favorite things to do, and we have done it every Sunday since we've been here, is spend the day at the beach! It's so much fun and only about 10 minutes away! Most of the day consists of surfing, swimming, laying out, and walking the boardwalk! We LOVE being so close to the beach :)

Trip to Champaign

Like I said in the post before, I was able to go see my sister for a week! I was so excited to see them since I hadn't since Christmas!! It worked out perfectly because the weekend we were going to move to VA Beach was the weekend I was going to drive there so it was nice I didn't have to drive myself and Tyler could just drop me off there on the way! I was sneaky and told them that we weren't gonna be there until in the middle of the night but we really were going to be there at 5:00 pm! Bladey was sooo excited to see me :) He especially loved me this trip... I'm still trying to figure out why! Haha maybe because I let him play "Angry Birds" on my phone! Like always it was SO good to see them and we had a lot of fun!

Well... Iowa was fun while it lasted but we have moved on to bigger and better things... aka the BEACH :) The office packed up and made the 20 hour move to Virginia Beach! Thank heavens I only had to drive 5 out of the 20 hours because Tyler dropped me off at my sisters for a week!
When we were still in Des Moines we went to the Blank Park Zoo! It was a smaller zoo but it was still fun! We went with Jessica and Ty & Bradyn and Aleah.

Tyler told me Taylor Swift was going to be in Des Moines last weekend and you better believe I wanted to go! We went with Ty and Jessica and we had so much fun! We had pretty good seats for getting them an hour before the concert started! We sat on the 28th row on the floor right in front of the sound people. There was this guy sitting right behind us and we were wondering the whole time who he was... then some girls asked to get a picture with him so we turned around and asked and he was Taylor Swift's dad!! Crazy huh? He sat right behind us, and her mom did too, the whole concert. They were so nice and down to earth and interacted with all of the fans and passed out guitar pics. We kept peaking on them throughout the whole concert! Taylor Swift was really good in concert and had really cool setups for her songs and the stage!

This little sweetie graduated from preschool last week! I CANNOT believe it! I was so sad that I couldn't be there :( but my mom was able to fly out and be there. He's the cutest, funniest, smartest little man around! I love him to pieces and can't wait until they move closer so I can see them more often! I love you Bladen and I'm so proud of you! Your going to be the smartest Kindergartener ever!

I'm officially a Southern Utah University Graduate! It was really weird to because I didn't really know what was going on because I had been gone and working for a year! But it was really good and a huge accomplishment! My most favorite part was seeing all my friends that I miss so much! We had such good times together and practically were unseperable for months during the blog! Another highlight was my good friend Elyse flew in from California and I have missed her sooo much!! All of our friends got together and went to dinner and caught up. I loved it, we always laugh a lot and have a great time!

My birthday fell on Easter Weekend this year. It was a good/bad thing. It was good because we had the time off of school so I didn't have to work on my birthday, but it was bad because Tyler wasn't here :( All I have to say is THANK HEAVENS for my family to always be there for me! On my birthday me, my mom, and Leanne (my brother's GF) went to Quail Lake and had a picnic and layed out! Later that night we went to dinner then were off to go camping for the weekend! While we were camping, me and my mom were on a 4-wheeler ride and saw a SNAKE rolled up in the middle of the road!!! Some people were there looking at it too and obviously it was dead or this guy would have not been holding it! Haha.

Spring Break!

I love working for Washington County because we get a spring break!!!!! It has been so nice having this time off :) We went down to Vegas with Austin and Annie. We had a great time! The first night we went and ate at Cabo Wabo and walked the strip and went shopping! Of course we had to go to the Bellagio and see the flowers! It is one of my favorite things to see. I loved it!

The next day the boys worked, so me and Annie layed out all day. It was so warm we were in heaven!! After that we went and got tickets to Mystere. If you have never been I would HIGHLY recommend it! I was in awe the whole time. It's amazing what people can do!!

Our last day/night the boys decided to spend it with us and lay out and relax by the pool again :) Afterwards we went shopping and then ate at Serendipity. It was really good and a fun enviroment! We sat right on the strip.

Birthday & Valentines

Tyler's birthday was January 30 and he turned the big 2-5!! I made him breakfast, we went golfing, and then to dinner that night with some friends! He got a new grill so we can BBQ at our new house!!

The funny thing about his birthday was that he has been wanting this bike that my dad had at the shop for months and he was dead set that he was going to get it for his birthday... I was kind of annoyed that he was expecting it haha so I tricked him into thinking my dad sold it and gave it to him for Valentines instead!! He was SOOO SURPRISED! He was in shock for, I swear, 30 minutes! Haha. Anyways we had a good Valentines... he brought me some beautiful flowers at school and then later that night we went to dinner with Brock and Blair. I have been horrible at taking pictures lately so this is all you get... Tyler posing on his new ride! :)

Is it just me or does everyone think that after 2 weeks of working out you should have an amazing body already??? Haha, because I do!! I know it takes A LOT more than that but I wish it didn't!! Anyways, I'm still liking Cross Fit even though it may be giving me man hands... you know those gloves that those guys/girls at the gym wear when they think they are "bad-A?" Well... now I know why they wear them! My hands KILL me at the end of my work outs! I am getting blisters and hope they don't get worse, so.... I broke down and bought some! :)

Running Smunning!

This morning was so hard!!!!! We started off with our warm up....... and just so you know these "warm ups" are more like what my normal work out was before! Ha... anyways after we ran 800 meters..... 4 times! I was like "Oh yeah I can do this with no problem." Right when I started I was practically panting and trying to catch my breath! It probably also didn't help that it was 20 degrees outside! Everyone else was done with their 2nd by the time I was done with my first.... let's just say I was a little more out of shape then I thought.. there was even this older lady there that was kicking my trash!!! Oh well, I'm just going to use the excuse that it's my first week :)

Cross-Fit

Some of my co-teachers have been trying to get me to do cross-fit for months! I finally broke down and started it on Monday.... I haven't walked normal since then! Ha! I love it though! Don't get me wrong, it SUCKS getting up at 5 am to go work out but after I am done I feel great! I love feeling the accomplishment of finishing a workout.. and also waking up that early! I know this isn't "Brandi's Fitness Blog" but I am going to sort of start making this my journal to tell about my experience.
This week we have done A LOT of push-ups, pull-ups (which I have never done before and they hurt), squats, and rowing! I look forward to going everyday because it is always something new! The coaches are awesome and really give you good feedback! It's nice not to be in a crowded gym where everyone can't stop looking at themselves in the mirror!! I had all my measurements and weigh-ins done... kind of opens your eyes when it is all written down on paper, but it is sure a motivator! It also doesn't hurt to have other people there with rockin bod's that give you that extra boost! :)
So as of now, well technically Monday, I am not eating sugar.... so don't tempt me!! And I am only eating very little carbs with lots of lean meat, fruits, and veggies! Wish me luck! :)

Our friends, Justin and Allie flew in to Salt Lake for New Years weekend. We went and got them on New Year's Eve and went to check into our hotel at the Grand America. We stayed in a suite there and it was sooo nice! We had some dinner and watched the fireworks, nothing major since we didn't get them from the airport until late. The next morning the boys did their thing while me and Allie went shopping :) We met up later that day for lunch then we went to the Jazz vs Grizzlies game. We were so excited because we had Executive Suite tickets that had special parking, dinner, and everything. It was really nice..... unfortunately we didn't get to do that because the boys had rubber on their shoes.... I don't know if it's just me but I thought every shoe had rubber on them...?????? I was sooooo mad!!! I guess they really mean business when they say the club is strict on your what you wear! Anyways, they gave us lower bowl tickets, and we had a great time. I have been a horrible blogger lately so beware for a picture overload!! The holidays have been great and I have more than needed the time off! My grandpa Arch passed away on Decemeber 5th. He was really sick for the past year and a half and was out at Kolob. We were so thankful for the time we were able to spend with him before he passed. We are so grateful for all the love and support our family has received. Laci and Bladen were able to fly in for the funeral. Laci had to go back to work for a week before her and Nate flew in, so Bladen got to stay here with us! Here is what we have been up to:

I was more worried about the snowmobile!! Thank heavens my dad knows how to fix these things! I don't know what we would have done without him there!! A couple weekends ago it was Janelle's baby shower! She is so cute and I can't wait to see her little one!
This weekend we went up north for the weekend. On Saturday we went to the Nitro Circus! It was really fun and there was a ton of people there! To open the show they had 4 guys parachute in down to the track. Travis Pastrana was the star of the show! It took me back to the old days when I use to go all the time with my family!

Tyler is FINALLY home from summer! We have done some fun things since he has been home but I have been really bad at taking pictures!! A few weekends ago we went up to Austin and Annie's cabin and stayed the weekend with some friends! We just relaxed, ate a lot of food, played games, and went on a couple rides. I have been really busy with school, everyone was right when they said your first year is stressful!! But I love it and I love my little kiddos!

This past weekend Tyson and Lana came down and stayed with us! On Friday night we went to the Dixie Round Up. Here is all of us minus Tyson and Lana, they weren't there yet!

On Saturday, my mom came down so all the girls went shopping while the boys went golfing. That night we went to dinner to watch the Utes game then to a movie!

Me and Tyler have been married 2 years on August 2nd! I know, where has the time gone?! It doesn't seem like that long! It was kind of a sad day for me because we were a couple thousand miles away, but at least we got to celebrate it when I went back and visited him in July! We went downtown and got a hotel at the historic district then we went and had a fancy dinner at a place called Oceanaire. It was pretty hilarious because Tyler ordered steak and shrimp and when they brought it out there was like 4 strips of steak and like 3 shrimp all pretty on the plate! We were DYING! Not much for a lot of money! haha. The next day we went and got a couples massage, which was another hilarious thing that happened that I will never forget... I'm still sore from what those little chinese women did to me!! I was so glad I was able to go back and see him, it's been a hard summer not seeing him!

On Tuesday, me, my mom, Laur, and Kapri went down to St. George to Tuachan to see Cats! My grandma ushers there so she got us a great deal! Before we went to the play we went shopping and of course went and ate at Olive Garden! It was so much fun, even though it was still 100 degrees at 10pm! I want to go again to see Tarzan!

Laci and Bladen's last days in Cedar were pretty sad! I did NOT want them to leave! It was so great being able to see them for over 2 months straight!! We took Bladen to the Lake of the Hills so he could fish. He was so excited, too bad we didn't catch anything! He loves hanging out with the Harris' so it was fun to have them there!

This past week was a busy week! We went to the lake camping and then went straight up to Cedar mountain camping! We had so much fun at the lake swimming and playing in the sand. We had the Bulloch's come one night and swam with all the cousins and had hobo dinners. When we went up to the mountain it was a lot cooler than Sand Hollow! We had fun riding 4-wheelers and making smores!

This summer we took our family vacation to somewhere we have stayed since we were little. I was like a little kid I was so excited to go! We drove to California and stayed for a week in San Diego. We stayed at the Bahia Hotel which is right on Mission Bay. The drive was looon but it was so worth it! I love San Diego. Our hotel was so awesome and is so close to everything. The first day we went to the Wild Animal Park. I would highly recommend this over the San Diego Zoo. It was huuge! The weather was perfect and we saw a lot of cool things. That night we walked to the beach and made sand castles and played in the waves. It was the first time Bladen saw the ocean so it was pretty exciting. We ate at a little restaurant on the boardwalk! The second day was Sea World!! I love Sea World and was in heaven. I don't care how old you are it's still fun! We were there from 10am to 10pm going NON STOP! We saw every show, my favorite was the "Belive" show with Shamu. I can't get over how amazing the animals are. I could watch them all day long. The next day we spent all day at the beach! We were all sooo sun burned! It was pretty funny, we were all a wreck! Haha. That night we went to a nice dinner and just relaxed. I had so much fun and did not want to come home. The weather was perfect each day we were there, I couldn't have asked for a better vacation! The only thing that was missing was Tyler...

Much Needed Weekend!

This weekend was VERY much needed. Tyler was selling near by Champaign so he came and stayed with us :) I was sooo happy to see him! I think Bladen was almost as excited as I was. He kept saying, "Where is Tyler? When will Tyler be here?" It's pretty hilarious because Bladen thinks Tyler's job is fishing... we aren't sure why, we think it was because when they came and visited us when we first got to Indy we took him fishing! Anyways, Tyler stayed Thursday, Saturday and Sunday night. Ty and Bladen were the best of friends. Bladen wanted to do everything Ty did down to eating what he ate and putting on cologne. Tyler was so cute with him. He would always come and snuggle with us! Anyways, Tyler stayed Thursday, Saturday and Sunday night. Sunday was our eventful day. We slept in, had a big breakfast, went on a picnic and played at the park, went shopping, had a BBQ, went mini golfing, got ice cream, and watched a movie (sounds like all we did was EAT! haha)

Me, Laci, and Bladen fly home on Saturday so I am glad I got to see Tyler before I left. Although it will be good to be home, it will be a LONG summer without him, I can't even think about it.

When Tyler left today I was crying and Bladen said to me, "Auntie, what's wrong? Are you sad that Tyler left? It's OK wipe away your tears, you will be safe without him." He is the sweetest little boy.

I can't believe I have been at my sister's for over a month! The time has flown by!! This is what we have been up to..

Our theme last week was "space." We made cookies one day and decorated them like the solar system. We also did the phases of the moon, made an astronaut, and a space ship!
We made a pinata! It was my first so I was a little nervous but it turned out cute and was a lot of fun! We painted it like the Earth!

When it was dry and everything Bladen had one of his friends over and they broke the pinata. They loved it!

After the pinata, we went to Prairie Farms. It's like a small petting zoo. There was a whole bunch of baby animals and they let the kids pet them.

I went to Indy on Friday and suprised Tyler! It was soooo good to see him, I have missed him a lot. He worked most of the time but we hung out with friends and stuff when he got off. On Sunday we slept in, then got ready to go to the Indians basebally game. They are a minor league team of the Pirates. We went with Allie and Justin. It was deathly hot, thank heavens our seats were in the shade!! After the game we went to the mall then to dinner. I was sad to leave but I will be going back soon!

We have had quite the weekend.. or should I say Bladen has had quite the weekend.. After his rough night falling in the fountaint at Putt Putt, the next morning he had a play date with some of his friends and he was so hyped up he jumped on his bed and hit right into the wood frame.

Right away it puffed up and turned black and blue. He cried for a bit but soon forgot about it when it came time to playing at the park! He is pretty tough! We went to the park and had lunch then played all day. Here is some pictures of the kids swinging

Friday's are mine and Bladen's "fun days" where he can choose to do whatever he wants! We went to the movie, of course, and we went and saw How to Train Your Dragon in 3D. I loved it and I am not one to go see an animated movie. It was so cute and Bladen loved every mintue of it too. He actually wore his glasses the whole time.. haha! Later that night we had dinner then went to Putt Putt Golf. We had quite the experience.. it started off by teaching Bladen how to hold his golf club.......

... but this ended up happening.. yup he FELL in, got soaking wet, and screamed his guts out! I guess he learned his lesson! Poor kid, we had to strip his clothes off!

Mother's Day

For Mother's Day, me and Bladen woke up early and cooked sticky buns, eggs, and bacon for Laci! We ate breakfast then got ready for our picnic. We went to Allerton Park and spent the day there. The scenery was so pretty. I hope Laci had a great Mother's Day! I am glad I was able to celebrate it with them.

Soooo.....most of my blogs this summer with be about my cutest little nephew, Bladen! We get to spend the summer together so we will be doing LOTS of fun things! On Thursday at his day care they had a Mother's Day Tea Party and I was invited. He was sooo excited about it and when we got there he was sitting at the table patiently waiting for us. Just so you know now this post is going to be a picture OVERLOAD! We got to Indy on Wed and my sister and Bladen came to stay the weekend with me. I was SOOO excited to see them I could barley stand it. I haven't seen them since Christmas so I could not wait!!! They got here Friday morning. When they got here we headed to the Indianapolis Zoo. The zoo was so much fun and one of the nicest zoos I have been to! It was really nice and pretty much every animal had babies!! My favorite was the sea lions and the dolphins! The next day we went to the Children's Museum of Indianapolis. We saw it while we were driving to the zoo so I am glad we saw it or we would have never known to go there. Recent Happenings!

As most of you know, I GOT A TEACHING JOB!! :) I will teach in Washington County at Sandstone Elementary. I don't know amy grade yet, but hopefully I will know soon! As I now it could be kindergaretn, 1st, or 3rd. I'm crossing my fingers for kindergarten... :) My principal and all of the teachers seem so nice so I can't wait. We are excited to move to St. George and start our life there like we have always wanted! I feel so grateful for this opportunity because there are a lot of teachers out there that can't find jobs. It will be a great experience and teach me a lot!

On Thursday it was my birthday! We went to lunch with my family and then later that night we went to St. George and hung out with friends and went to dinner at Olive Garden and then KRAVE my favorite places ever!!! Thanks to everyone for the birthday wishes and presents:) This is us at dinner

Easter Weekend

I started off my Easter weekend by getting a massage on Thursday... it was AMAZING! Tyler always makes fun of me because I always tell him if we were rich I would have a personal massuce and I would get a massage 3 times a day! For some reason he thought that was odd.. haha :) Anyways, on Friday we were off to Mt. Carmel to stay at a friend's cabin. We went to a little home town resturant that night then the next morning we woke up early and hopped on the shuttle at Zion to hike! I am so glad we got an early start because by the time we got done, every where was PACKED! We left Zion and drove to Mesquite to stay the night. My grandma was kind enough to get us a room :) We hung out at the pool then went to dinner and bowling that night with Ben, Laur, Kolton, and Kapri! The next day was Easter, so I woke up and set Tyler's Easter bunny present out, then we were off to the pool!! It was so nice to relax in the sun... too bad the next day it snowed in Cedar!

Me and Tyler just got back from our spring break vacay to Vegas! The weather was AMAZING and I did not want to come home! It was about 80 degrees everyday we were there! On the first day we checked into our room and I went right out to the pool:) poor Ty had to go and work! I layed out all day then went back to the room and got ready to go to the strip that night. We walked to strip and went into all the shops and watched my favorite, the fountains and Bellagio! The next day consisted of the same, me laying out all day then getting ready to go out that night. We wanted to go see the lions and MGM because they had babies but by the time we got there they had already gone to bed! This night was St. Patricks day so the strip was ridiculously busy! We saw some drunk couple that thought it would be fun to jump into the fountains at Bellagio.. don't know how they pulled it off.. Anyways, we went to dinner and went and looked at the flowers at the Bellagio. They were soo pretty and it made me even more excited for spring! The next day I went shopping at the Fashion Show mall then went to dinner that night at the forum shops! Our last day there I layed out all day again then we headed home! I was so sad to come back to this crappy weather! Here are some pics of the trip:

A couple weeks ago I spent the week down in St. George for school! We were able to go to an elementary school down there and observe in the classrooms. I was in a 3rd grade class with a teacher named Charlie Phillips. The school I was at was Heritage Elementary! It was a good experience and we had lots of fun! Me and 7 other girls stayed down in a time share the whole week! It was a blast! We stayed up late, laughed, and ate A LOT! I wish I would have taken more pictures! Anyways, one of the nights we did something as a block. Me,Elyse, and Janelle planned it. We went to a park and roasted mallows and hotdogs. Thanks to Prof. K we had 90 HOTDOGS! Haha.. funny. For Valentines day I gave Tyler tickets to the Travis Tritt concert in St. George. We went down and went to dinner and then to the concert. When we got to the concert we took our seats, which after the opening singer we switched because they were soooo uncomfortable because we were on the second row turned all awkward and we were surrounded by old people and it was so squishy!!! The opening singer of the concert kinda sucked, but Travis Tritt was good. He sang some of his oldies which were really fun. As always there was some dandy people there that kept us entertained!

I haven't blogged for about a month, but I haven't had really anything to say! Since then we celebrated my mom's birthday and Tyler's birthday. For Tyler's birthday we spent the day in St. George and then came home and had some friends over to make crepes! BIG 24!!
Next is Valentines.. is it bad that even though I am married I am STILL not a fan of Valentines day??????? I guess I think it should be a bigger event then it ever turns out to be.. Weird I know.. anyways for the weekend we went down to St. George and went to the Parade of Homes with Ty's parents. They are building a new house so we got some great ideas! I don't have any pictures from the weekend though so I feel kinda bad.... well actually I have like 100 pictures but they are all of houses and decoration ideas, haha and I am not gonna post those! We went to them on Saturday and then on Sunday we had breakfast then went and saw more houses with Austin and Annie then had a BBQ then went to the movie! Anyways, that's all for now..

This past weekend was Jamie's wedding! It was a BUSY weekend and I was pretty beat by the time it was over, but it was a lot of fun!! We went up to Nephi on Thursday night to set up everything for the reception. It was a long night but everything looked great! The next morning came fast, waking up at 5:30 a.m. to get Jamie and myself ready for the BIG DAY! Her and Rian got married in the Manti temple and then afterwards their luncheon was in Nephi. They had their reception that night and another one the next night in Cedar. I had a lot of fun helping decorate and being apart of the wedding! I am go happy to have such a great friend like Jamie and to be able to be there on their special day! Here are some pictures of the Cedar reception:

I'm so sad the holidays are over! Not only because I love Christmas but because my sister had to leave too :( It was SOO much fun having them here! We did a lot of fun things like going to St. George, eating, warpping presents, staying up late talking, watching movies, doing nails/pedicures, having Nate's surprise party, Bulloch Christmas Eve party, watching Bladen ride his 4-wheeler and snowmobile, going to the farm to see Ben's baby lambs, and laughing of course!
Me and Tyler were go grateful to have such a great Christmas. We got new tires and rims for my cars and a new TV along with clothes and other things like that! It is so nice to have all of the family around to celebrate with. On Christmas morning when we were opening our presents it was such a diasater! The living room had a pile of paper and boxes almost up to the ceiling. It was so fun seeing Bladen that morning and being so excited. When he saw all of his presents he just sat there in awe and looked at them. Of course he wanted to open them all right away. When he would open them he would say, "This is what I've ALWAYS wanted!! Ever since I was a little baby!" HAHA it was so funny and cute! He helped me opened some presents and said the same thing to me. I love him so much and he has such a cute personality. He is definitely the center of attention when he comes to Nana's and Papa's and trust me he knows it! Some funny things that he said while he was here was, "Your a diva" "Sicker than a dog" "Your crazy" oh and Tyler also taught he to call him "T-weezie" Haha he was so much fun!

For Christmas we gave Tyler's parents tickets to the Jazz Game. They played the Denver Nuggets, which is Tyler's favorite team. We had a lot of fun with them. We went shopping and stayed over night! Me and my friends decided to have a little Christmas get together and have dinner! To make things fun we all wore ugly sweaters and had a great time! We got our "ugly" sweaters from Tyler's grandma.. the DI was all sold out! Haha. We all think Austin won the contest of the ugliest sweater!! Here are some pics:

Yesterday Sara got married so we went with Eylse and Dale down to St. George to the temple and then we went to the luncheon down there too! The wedding was so nice and I am so happy for them! Later that night we went to the reception in Cedar and had a lot of fun!! Jared is from Hawaii so they did some Hawaiian dances and it was so interesting to watch. Sara looked so pretty and they are so cute together! Congrats:)

Not much has been going on lately so that's why I haven't blogged in awhile! Here is just a couple things we've been up to:
It was Annie's birthday so we all went to PF and had dinner! It was so fun together with everyone.. we always have a great time:)
Sara is getting married so we had a bachelorette party for her. We went and ate at the Garden House and then went to Elyse's to open gifts and have some treats! Kelcie's cookies were the hit of the night.. haha!
Then of course we had Thanksgiving! We went up to Richfield and spent it with Tyler's family. We did some packing and helped his parents get moved out of their house. We ate at his aunt's then later that night we had to head home because I had to work the next day... CRAZY black friday shoppers!

Life With A Husband!!

A lot has been going on since Tyler has been home. My step grandpa passed away and the whole family got together for the funeral. It was the first time we had all been together in like 5 years.
The first weekend Tyler was home we went to Richfield to visit his family and then came home and had a BBQ at Josh and Sunny's and that was really fun! The next weekend we went up to Austin and Annie's cabin in Scofield and stayed a couple nights and road 4 wheelers and ate lots of food! We carved out names in a tree and as you can tell by the pictures that it turned out pretty funny. It was suppose to say BAAT but Austin did a cursive A so it looks a little funky! Haha it looks awesome:) Then this past weekend we went up north to Vision's Back End Party (I forgot my camera so I didn't take any pics). We went up that morning and shopped and went to lunch then went to Thanksgiving Point where the party was. The first couple hours of the party they had a casino hour where they had tables set up to play black jack and crabs and stuff like that. We had fake money we played with! We had a great time! After that we had dinner and awards. It's good to be home and have my husband back!!

This past weekend me and Annie flew out to Virginia Beach to visit Tyler and Austin. It has been over a month so it was sooo good to see him! We had a long day of traveling to get there but it was so worth it! I was so excited to see Tyler!! We did a lot of fun things, as you can tell most of them were done at the beach!! Where they live is about 8 miles from the beach. The first night we went and walked on the beach and had dinner. They next day we spent the day at the beach laying out, playing in the water, and the best part was we rented beach cruisers and went up and down the board walk! It was hilarious becaues they didn't have anymore guys' bikes so Tyler had to ride a pink one!! Hahah so we were twinners... everyone was starring a little! We went to dinner at this BEST mexican resturant, thanks Steve.. I am craving it soo bad! The trip was short but sweet! I can't wait till he is home for good:)

I finally made it home! It feels great to be back in Cedar and be somewhat back to normal! The week and a half before I came home I was in Champaign visiting my sister. Laci and Nate left after a couple days and went to Cancun and I stayed there to tend Bladen. It was so much fun hanging out with the little man! This is what our days consisted of; sleeping in until about 9:30, watching cartoons until noon, get ready, have lunch, then either go to the park, swimming, to the animal farm, or to the mall! While I was there I was trying to potty train him! He did pretty good... probably because everytime he went he said "I go pee pee, I get a snack!" Another cute thing he would say to me is that we were best friends! He would say it in such a sweet little voice it made me want to cry! I am so thankful I got to spend that one on one time with him! On my mom's last few days here and my last few days living here we decided to tour DC. Annie came along with us and we had lots of fun!! On the first day we got on the metro and went downtown. This is us waiting for the train

We sat on a park bench by the Capitol for a while and talked and I was surprised how active it was around there. There was a ton of people jogging, playing baseball and doing other active things right there on a huge lawn downtown. It's crazy how this kind of scenery is normal to them!

Our second day downtown we went to the Holocaust museum. It was awesome but really sad. It's hard to believe stuff like that really happened.Our last stop for the day was Arlington Cemetery. My mom went on the church history tour a long time ago so she has been to all of this stuff but can't really remember so it was fun to go and refresh her memory:)

It was so fun having my mom come here and visit and see where we live. We had such a great time and saw a lot of neat things! Our adventure is not over yet though... we flew out the next day to my sister's house and I said goodbye to Virginia/Washington DC forever! We will be in Champaign for the next week and a half spending time with Laci, Nate and Bladen and then they will leave for Cancun and I get to babysit! More to come later:)

Let me just warn you now that this is going to be a LONG post! Me and my mom have been quite the traveler's for the past 2 weeks. I picked her up on Monday the 3rd and we stayed the night in Philly then woke up at 4:30 am to catch the train to downtown China Town in Philly to catch the 7 am bus to New York! And when I say bus I don't mean just a regular bus station that everyone is familiar with.... we were walking around in chinatown which is scary enough trying to find our stupid bus that everyone we asked seemed to know nothing about! We finally found this guy that has seen others like us walking around with papers and confusion on our faces! He told us that we get picked up by that little yellow sign with Chinese on it........... ya scary! Here is my mom sitting by our "bus station" hahaha

Other people starting showing up so we weren't so scared anymore. We met a lady and her son that helped us out a lot on our journey to NYC.

We finally made it to our hotel... after getting lost on the subway... and got some dinner in a little street cafe right by our hotel. Our hotel was hilarious, it was nice but it was so tiny! Right when you walked into the room you basically hit our bed! We were so tired we didn't really care! The next morning we slept in a little then woke up and got ready for Mamma Mia on Broadway. We got lost again on the subway............... haha

Me and my mom sat in Times Square for a while and just people watched. It was so crazy and busy it was fun to just sit there! After that it was time to make it back to the bus to head back to Philly. And let me tell you it was quite the adventure in itself! We asked probably 5 people how to get to the subway before we finally found it. After we got off in China town we probably walked a couple mines trying to find the dang "bus station" Once again it was infront of a random chinese shop! Haha we were so ready to get out of the city by then!!

For our anniversary on August 2nd we went to the Arlington Cemetery. It was the hottest day ever. We we're sweating to death!! But it was worth it to see everything. We walked around and saw all of the graves, they are amazing how straight and organized they are. You look and the grave stones go forever. We went and saw the changing of the guards and that was probably my favorite thing to see. It is so cool and I can't believe they do it 24/7! Here are a few pics

Sine our office moved from Philly to Washington DC, last Sunday me and Tyler decided to go downtown and see some things since we are like 5 minutes away. We didn't have a lot of time so we drove around and saw some things and then parked and went and saw the Jefferson Monument. It was so cool, I had never seen anything like it. After that we got on some paddle boats and paddled around and saw some of the monuments from our boats! It was pretty funny in those things! After that we went home and had a BBQ with everyone! It is really different here and WAY humid, but so far so good!!!

I have been a slacker on blogging lately so I am behind a few weeks so this is from 2 Sundays ago. Little did we know it would be our last Sunday in Philadelphia so I am glad we all went out and did something fun! We went to Ocean City Beach again with the boys and it was a lot of fun! We swam in the ocean and I got smashed by HUGE waves, layed out, and ate lots of food! We all came back looking pretty crispy! Here are some pics

The second half of our vacation was spent up north at Hogle Zoo and Lagoon. We had so much fun! Bladen could not wait to see of of the animals and ride the train. He talked about it non-stop! After the zoo we drove to Lagoon and stayed in the Lagoon RV park and spent the night. The next morning we got up and went to Lagoon. We rode rides all day long. Bladen was in heaven riding the boats, helicopters, and the cars. He is getting so big I can't even believe it. He has the cutest little personality and I loved every minute of playing with him! We had such a fun time and the time flew by. Me and my sister flew out on the same flight so it was good getting to spend those few extra hours together! It was so sad to see them go. In the airport when we were going to our separate gates after we got off of our first flight, we said our goodbyes and Bladen was so confused. He just stood there saying bye and waving to me and watched me until I turned the corner. It was so sad! I definitely was not ready to leave!

Me and my sister and Bladen flew home to Cedar to see our family. We got here on Wednesday and are staying until July 9th! It has been so much fun being home, especially getting to see Laci and Bladen. So far we have went to the mountain and camped at Deer Valley and had hobo dinners with the Bulloch's. Today was the 4th of July and we went to the parade and then the park afterwards to let Bladen "go fishing." He loved the parade and caught a lot of candy. After the parade we had a BBQ at my parent's house with my mom's side of the family. It's so good to see everyone while we're home. Bladen has been dying to see Kapri's horses, so Ben took us out to their farm so Bladen could see their horses, pigs, sheep, and cows! He was in heaven! Here are some pics!

I haven't blogged for a couple weeks because nothing too exciting has happened except for Tyler went to the US Open last weekend with Austin and Travis. They drove to New York and followed the golfers all day long! He was in heaven!! As for me, I have just been working, doing homework for my online classes and laying out every chance I get!!
Last night Vision took the office to dinner at Champps. It's one of our favorite places to eat! Afterwards we went to Landon and Che's and had treats and played the "Newlywed Game." We laughed a lot and had a great time!! Unfortunatley me and Tyler tied for last with Austin and Annie.. haha

This Sunday for everyone's day off we decided to lay out by the pool since it was such a nice day! We laid out all day and got a little crispy! It was so fun:)
After laying out we went to Hooters for dinner with a big group for Travis' and Josh's birthday! We had hula hooping contests and the birthday boys had to get up on chairs infront of everyone and spell their names with their butts! It was hilarious. After that we went back to our house and had cake!

Today we went to Atlantic City. It reminded me of vegas with a beach. There were a ton of casinos! We went to the beach and walked the boardwalk. First we ate at the Rainforest Cafe and then walked the boardwalk and went to all of the shops along there.

Me and Annie had a day off work so we decided to go to Valley Forge since it's like 5 minutes away from our house! It was so neat, I didn't know much about it, I know it's sad I didn't know but I'm really bad at history. You can take your own tour so we did that and took some pictures.

The boys work everyday but Sunday's so that is when we go out and do fun things together. Our first fun thing we did was go to "Center City" which is downtown Philly. We went and saw the Liberty Bell and Independance Hall. It was a lot of fun. We went with Ashlee and Tyler, Che and Landon, Austin and Annie, & Josh and Sunny. We have a train station right by our house so we rode that there.

I tried to take pictures of all of the state signs we drove through and I didn't do that great of a job because I would get distracted and miss them so I tried to take a picture of something that had the state name in it so here we go!

It was so nice finally making it to Philly! We pulled into our apartments at about 9pm and got into our new home! We live in a suburb of Philly that's called Devon. It's so pretty and is green with a ton of trees and beautiful homes and churches everywhere!

Over the Easter Break we went to Richfield and stayed with Tyler's parents. Tyler golfed... a lot, we had a BBQ, and I hung out with his mom and went shoppin!!
